3: The Battle Within - Davis Jenkins
My guest today is my buddy Davis Jenkins (@DavisJenkins21). Davis loves helping people, and that is part of the reason why he became a real estate agent for Keller Williams. He is currently serving Woodstock, Georgia and surrounding areas. In this podcast we actually didn't talk too much about real estate because I wanted Davis to be share his story. This was the first time Davis had spoken out on a public platform like this so I really appreciated his vulnerability and honesty.
Before we started recording, Davis was a little apprehensive about where this podcast would be shared and who would listen to it since he did share a lot of things that most people would not know about him. I explained that, yes, this podcast would be out in the world for anyone to listen to, but what better way for someone to hear your story than through a long form, two hour conversation where you can really explain yourself and share your entire story. Wouldn't that be better than someone hearing it through the grapevine or you sharing with them in a 10 minute conversation? I think it might be the BEST way for someone to hear your story because its coming straight from YOU. He hadn't really thought about it that way yet, so once his perspective changed he was able to really open up and get deep with me and I can't thank him enough for that.
