We are so excited about your interest in our Internship Program!
If you aren’t familiar with The Andrew Deitsch Podcast, each episode is a conversation with a fascinating or inspiring person. Some of Andrew’s guests include Entrepreneurs, Influencers, World Travelers, Musicians, Athletes, Artists, Doctors, Lawyers, Movie Stars, World Record Holders, and Comedians.
The mission of the show is to expose our audience to new perspectives while inspiring them to pursue their dreams.
We do this through a mixed media approach. We focus on audio first, then use a combination of video, photography, and graphics to promote the show on social media. We are constantly innovating how we engage our audience.
Our internship program is 12 weeks long. Each week you will be expected to complete 25-30 hours of work.
We provide an environment that allows you to learn and grow in your specialties.
Content production is our number one focus. You will be on the front lines, taking on your own projects and responsibilities.
You will have the opportunity to gain experience in the following fields:
Live Video Production, Videography, Video Editing, Audio Editing, Graphic Design, Animation, Photography, Social Media Strategy, Public Relations, Podcast Scheduling/ Preparation/ Research, Script Writing, and Copywriting.
Over the course of your internship, we want you to gain experience in as many of these areas as you wish.
Over the span of this 12 week program, you will be working hand in hand with Andrew and the team on a daily basis.
What does that mean?
You will not just be treated as a “Coffee Runner.” We will value your opinions and appreciate your input as a member of our team.
We highly value open communication, feedback, and collaboration.
You will be given responsibilities and projects that will require your creativity, judgement, and technical skills.
By the end of the program, you will have an impressive portfolio of documented work.
We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for learning, an open mind, and a solid understanding of podcast and social media culture.
You should be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of Adobe CC software, or similar programs. We mostly use Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Audition.
It is not required, but if you are familiar with Open Broadcaster Software, Facebook Live, YouTube, SoundCloud, Libsyn, Squarespace, After Effects, Illustrator, or Lightroom please let us know.
We will expect you to take on projects that fall within your skill set, and be willing to learn new skills.
The Andrew Deitsch Podcast Studio is located in Sandy Springs, on the north side of the Atlanta perimeter.
Not only is this where Andrew hosts the podcast, but also where his team shoots and edits videos, meets with clients and sponsors, hosts networking events, and much more.
Our studio features professional lighting for video and photo, live stream equipment, multiple workstations, strong WiFi, a complete kitchen, and amazing views of Downtown Atlanta and Buckhead.
This is where you will report for work, but if you wish to work remotely on days where you are not physically needed, we encourage it, as long as your projects are being completed on time.
